Real Madrid could pocket €4 million from the transfer of former flop to Turkey – report

Real Madrid have had an active summer so far, confirming several departures, contract renewals, and new signings already.
Jude Bellingham has been Los Blancos’ most notable acquisition has been Jude Bellingham, who arrived from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth €103 million plus add-ons.
Apart from the Englishman’s signing, the Merengues have not spent much on their other transfers, with Fran Garcia joining for €5 million while Joselu arrived on loan for a fee of €500,000.
But with a big-money move for Kylian Mbappe potentially on the cards, any boost of income would be welcome at the Santiago Bernabeu.
As such, Mundo Deportivo is reporting that Real Madrid could pocket around €4 million from former striker Luka Jovic’s potential move to Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Los Blancos had signed Jovic in 2019 for a massive €60 million, but the Serbian international proved to be a massive dud as he managed just three goals from 51 appearances in Spain.
Jovic left Real Madrid permanently last summer, signing for Fiorentina on a free transfer, with the Merengues retaining a 50% future sell-on clause for the centre-forward.
The Serb enjoyed a decent campaign in Italy, scoring 13 goals in 50 games and it has seemingly compelled Galatasaray to make a move for him.
The Turkish giants are willing to bid €8 million for Jovic and should Fiorentina accept, Real Madrid would be guaranteed half of it, i.e., €4 million.
While it is not a big sum, any income is welcome ahead of the summer transfer window, especially considering that the club had allowed Jovic to leave for free last year.
